Around 2 weeks ago I broke my foot at the ‘Garden of Eden’ Arboretum in Haiku, HI. (The Road to Hana) Never go there. Beautiful views, but staff was rude and unhelpful when I was stuck with a foot broken in 2 places. That’s neither here nor there however.
After not being able to take the pain medication because it knocked me out (and I’m a workaholic) I decided to have another go at homeopathic medicine.
I first used it quite successfully 2 years ago when I had serious airbag burns, that I healed in a week with my own cream (arnica montana and tea tree oil base) and 8 or so ingredients.
After research, I found out about Calcarea Fluorica. Not much research exists, but it’s meant for repeated breaks and sprains. This seemed up my alley, so I picked up some, along with a proper round of Arnica Montana. After taking them for 4 days, I don’t feel any pressure or inflammation in my leg, and after properly re-bracing it, it feels 100% better.
While it feels better, the road to recovery still requires common sense. Such as… keeping the leg raised as much as possible, NO PRESSURE at all on the broken limb, and in the very least, keeping the leg fully immobilized. Also, take a calcium supplement. As I use boosted Vitamin-C (Ester-C), I decided to pick up ‘Everyday Calcium’, shown aboce, which has a high-potency calcium and magneium blend, with improved absorption and bio-avilability. These’s aren’t Tums or any of that rubbish, this is supercharged calcium.
Make your own judgments regarding homeopathic medicine, but this is the second time Arnica Montana (and maybe Calcarea Fluorica) has saved my ass.
